TasteWorld is a craving-to-dish discovery application built by JMBAMS.
A restaurant directory usually asks you to choose a place first. TasteWorld lets you begin with a dish, flavor, ingredient, texture, or craving and then searches available restaurant-menu data for matching dishes.
A TasteBud is the language you use to describe that intent. TasteWorld keeps the strongest part of the request at the center while it compares menu items and presents the restaurant serving each result.
TasteWorld uses the selected city and optional restaurant, food, drink, cuisine, diet, price, and menu-category choices to define the search area. It then compares the submitted TasteBuds with available menu-item names and descriptions and returns the ranked matches.
TasteWorld does not generate dishes or replace a restaurant's menu. Public restaurant pages expose the factual menu records currently available to the application.
Read the TasteWorld walkthrough or browse supported cities and restaurants.
Clear dish names, factual descriptions, menu categories, prices, and current availability help people understand a menu and help TasteWorld connect a specific craving to the food a restaurant serves.
Owners can contact TasteWorld about a listing or menu update. Inclusion does not imply a rating, ranking guarantee, or endorsement.
TasteWorld uses necessary app data for search, security, accounts, favorites, and saved app state. Optional analytics and advertising are handled separately through the site's consent controls.
